Every day is a women’s day, then why is there a need to celebrate it?
8th March, officially recognised as Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide.
But the question is,why there is a need to celebrate it on a specific day?
Why only on 8th March and why not everyday, as questioned by several people who feel that everyday is a women’s day and it’s kind of queer to highlight women power and shower love to women on just one single day. Though a part of me agreed with this remark but then the other part of me felt elated when my social handles were flooded with wishes and greetings for women’s day. It was then I realised that it’s not just for the sake of celebration, but it’s more about reminding and triggering the minds of every single men to realise what all a woman does for his well-being and how her presence changes his perception of looking at things As a friend, a mother…

Helplessness prevails…

What helplessness means is-
having the feeling of a regret inside your void heart.
I so wish to return to
one of the winter mornings of childhood,
just to spend a day in Kanpur again;
Just like Krishna wished once to return,
back to Radha…
But some wishes always remain unfulfilled…
Only if he could,
Only if I would…
Letter for my Father….
Dear Papa,
I want to say something to you…one last time….

I wish….I could see your divine beauty….one last time…
I wish…I could feel your magical aura…..one last time….
I wish…I could hear your fun filled whispers…one last time…
I wish…I could touch your pious soul….one last time….
I wish….I could smell your tantalizing aroma….one last time….
I wish…I could get these cognizant senses…one last time….
I wish….I could cease my unfulfilled cravings….one last time…..
One last time……………
Love you Papa…….
Writer…or Author?
Today, I have some questions to ask. And my questions are open to all. Please do read the full post and feel free to share your views.
I am a writer. Well…some people still say so at least. Yes, I do write some things that my heart allows to come out. But who doesn’t? Every one in some point of their life, writes something that was buried inside their heart, or can create their identity. That particular piece of writing is what defines them. If almost everyone’s heart belong to writing, then why some particular people get the recognition as an author? If my thought is true, then is everyone should be termed as ‘Author’? If not, then why not?
Is it just because someone’s write up is getting featured somewhere or have gotten the stamp of publishing house, thus they got the legally authorized tag of being called a writer?
Some people say that “Writers and Authors are not the same. Any people can be a Writer but not all the people deserve to be called as an Author.” Well, if it is so, then can anyone tell me what is the basic difference between a Writer and an Author?
Just because a person’s write up did not get published then the person is not an author? Is it so?
Publishing content is that much powerful? If yes, then what should we call that person whose ‘unpublished’ write up has far more better potential than a published author put sometimes?
What is the main criteria of getting the tag of a ‘writer’ or ‘author’?
Kindly let me know your views about this in comment section.
Wish to have a fruitful discussion. Thank you all.
P.S- I am not here for arguing with anyone or hurt anyone’s thought process. If anybody got hurt by my questions or words then I am genuinely sorry for that. No hard feelings.
My First Blog Post
Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned for more. Subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.
Introduce Yourself (Example Post)
This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.
You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
- Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
- Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
- Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
- What topics do you think you’ll write about?
- Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
- If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
